I've used the iOS maps app quite a bit since I've had the iPhone 5 and I have I experienced zero problems with it. I absolutely love it. I'm considering deleting Navigon from my phone as I have no need for it anymore, other than occasional Street View.
I love how you can just use Siri to say, "Get directions to..." and be on your way after after just pressing one button to begin navigation. I also like how ETA and miles remaining can be easily seen. It uses very little data and it caches maps so it continues to show maps and route if you lose your signal. My only suggestion is to have a feature added so voice directions can be repeated at the tap of a button if needed.
