Sync iPhone with Firefox Bookmarks

I realize I can import my Firefox bookmarks into Safari and then have them sync with the iPhone, but is there some way I can automate this process? Say ... with Automator?

I don't like being pushed toward Safari on my Mac just because I use an iPhone.

On the PC side, I don't like being forced to fire up Internet Explorer...
