As is the case in a lot of instances, the US has superior service to the UK.That's a shame. T-Mobile has excellent service and pricing here in the US.
Wow, that's pretty interesting. When I was over in Europe, I did notice a difference, but never really converted it and thought of it that way. And yeah, I did see O2 and Vodafone all over the place there. As is the case in a lot of instances, the US has superior service to the UK.
Pricing can be an issue too. The major players in the UK are Vodafone, O2 and Orange.
for example - a gallon of 'gas' or petrol in the US is approx $2.20 - $2.40 (last time I was over the pond) and in the UK it is £0.95p per litre which works out to £4.40 (ish) a gallon, which at todays exchange rate, is approx $8.80!
Sorry, I'm ranting now.... ;-)

I understand that. I was just letting him know that the US was catching up with the rest of the world on gas prices.$3/gal is still cheap compared to other parts of the world. I think the first rumblings were that O2 would carry it. No one seems to know now.
Sorry, I wasn't writing directly to you.I understand that. I was just letting him know that the US was catching up with the rest of the world on gas prices.
Yep. I researched the UK carrier out of curiosity. Most sites said 02, but some said theta there is confusion and it is undecided/ unannounced at this point.$3/gal is still cheap compared to other parts of the world. I think the first rumblings were that O2 would carry it. No one seems to know now.
