Tethered sbsettings issue

When I DL any cydia app I.e. Sbsettings that requires reboots my phone gets stuck in reboot. I have put into dfu and tried rebooting with redsn0w and it gets stuck at half eaten pineApple! When I force reboot gets stuck at Apple. Basically I have to restore every time I try to dl sbs.

Any help?

when you restore do you restore from a back up or do as a new users? i would try as a new user if you are not as old issue may be creeping up each time.
