Is anyone else upset that you can't text message multiple people at once? For example...I have over 500 numbers that I need to continuously keep in contact with. Most of whom need the same info. I would like to know if anyone knows how to mass text people at the same time. One at a time is BS!

I rarely need to text more than one person at once, but I do agree when I want to it is annoying to not be able to. I really hope Apple adds in some of the random stuff like this in their update.

I've never EVER needed to text more than one person at a time.
Quick explanation on why I text so much so people don't think I'm insane. I own my own nightclub marketing company called Liquid Karma Entertainment out in Scottsdale, Arizona. I have to text various people regarding events, directions, dates, times, etc. I also have a list of patrons that like to get an update on where the party is at for the night. Can't send them one by one or I'll shoot myself. FRUSTRATED!
Not at any of you fine people though. A great phone with great features. Just left out the simplest programs. Things like deleting more than one text or email at a time. Email is the worst. I delete it once. Then I have to go to the trash and delete it again. No way of emptying the entire trash can. DAMN YOU APPLE! SIMPLE PROGRAMS. DID YOU NOT PICK UP ANY PDA WHEN MAKING THIS PHONE?

I know about the groups but once you go to a particular group, you still have to pick one person at a time. Doesn't matter. Don't get me wrong. I love the phone but little things like that are needed for functionality.
Do this:There is nothing called "groups" when texting. Maybe I am looking in the wrong place. To my knowledge, there is no way to text more than one person. Hopefully, this will come in the first update-whenever that will be
SMS -> new message (top right symbol) -> plus symbol (to add from contacts) -> on this page, top left, it says "Groups"
Not on my phone-I just did exactly what you said twice adn there is nothing in the upper left corner. In the middle it says"choose a contact to text message" and below that it says "all contacts" and next to that it says "cancel". But, there is nothing that says "Groups"
I think we're getting signals crossed somewhere because it's definitely on my iPhone and I don't think at this point there are any differences in individual iPhones.
Although! You may need to have set up groups in your contacts on your desktop/laptop computer. And that would be a Mac thing.

I get all that robhon...but you still can't text the entire group at once. It's still one at a time. Thanks for trying though. I love this forum...Everyone tries to help everyone.
damn boy. That's too much texting. Are you really gonna make me read? Just call them. That's what I don't like about texting . It another way to get me to read .... LOL
The Fav 500 PlanYeah, I guess it would be nice to do that, but I think sending an email might be the better choice. Just need to tell your 500 friends to pony up for internet access on their phones or they cant be friends with you anymore
