Sorry guys. It was a bit of a jab.
I have been lurking on this site since it first came out.
I would have a bit of a red A$$ as well if i bought one and had them drop the price right after.

It just turned out that i was waiting for my contract to end with verizon befor i bought.

Any way this is a great site and has been a good deal of help to me.

I don't want to pi$$ off any of you guys.
I may need you help in the future.

I would have paid $100 a month just to RENT my iPhone. The $100 redeemable at an Apple store will be wisely spent. OK, maybe not that wisely. Some women shop for shoes, I shop for gadgets.

My $100 will probably go toward my eventual purchase of an iMac. I have OSX Tiger installed on my PC right now, but I'd like to get the iMac by Christmas, hopefully.

Why would anyone congratulate him when he literally THANKED us for paying "big bucks". Of course he's lucky, and of course people are mad about the situation. It's just wasn't smart to run into a forum of angry iPhone owners thanking them for spending their hard earned money.
