FINALLY!
I was at the end of the street about 10 houses away talking with a neighbor when I saw the UPS truck turn the corner. I didn't even say goodbye and took off running mid-sentence. I'll bet that UPS guy is sick of people running at him all smiley and stuff today.
Now, to debate my activation options and decide which way to try first without messing up somehow. (Using my son's upgrade, needing to switch SIMS maybe?)

I'm glad, I was so sick of the Evo.Cool cool! Now we can enjoy our new iPhone 4s and Siri!

I had mine ordered through Verizon's website. Hated to wait until 10/21 for delivery. Called my local Verizon Store when I left work, they said they had plenty so cancelled my order, went down, and iPhone in hand and activated in 20 minutes. They said there was a line this morning but they had plenty to go around and lots of sales rep on hand for a speedy process.at I just walked right in at 3pm. Happy girl.
My brother in law has the EVO he likes it so far but the battery life on it sucks he says.
Mine was very glitchy, I had to root and use a custom ROM to make it tolerable. Then, the other day, while residing comfortably in my pocket, the charger port came loose.

Wow, mine wasn't that bad but the battery life was pretty atrocious. I'm just glad I was finally able to consolidate my phone plans with my wife so we are on one plan. It only took us a couple of years but now we are both on the same network.

OK finally doing something with my phone .....have not even tried Siri yet
I got also the Airport Extreme today and first set up a whole new network which did not help with the internet (don't ask what those idiotes on the phone solutions were I am still so upset)
any way finally working with my new phone backup from the cloud like a charm

Activated this AM after bringing them (mrs. snowtrooper's white 32GB and my black 64GB) home.
Had family stuff to do since I ditched 'em last night to be first in line @ Sprint store.
Getting mine fine tuned.
Definitely a quantum leap from our 3GS's.
I'm already missing 5 colum springboard and dock, mrs. snowtrooper is mising Bite SMS.....

Congrats everyone on your new 4S. I'm very envious. I'm really enjoying reading the experiences all of you are having. I won't be able to purchase mine until November when I qualify for the full upgrade.
Sorry to hear...I wonder if Sprint or HTC will work together with one another to come up with major fixes especially the battery.
I logged in to AT&T wireless to check my bill & it asked if I wanted to check upgrade eligibility. I just upgraded in July so I was not even thinking I would get the full discount, well I am eligible for full discount so going to get 4s tomorrow. Can not wait!
