They Have Arrived!

The iPhones were just delivered to our Apple store, and boy was it a sight. A bunch of Apple employees ran outside to accept the delivery and they looked very excited. Then a store manager yelled over to all of us in line "This is it!"

So just how many came? There were 20 brown boxes, and each box look like it could hold 4 - 8, I didn't get a long enough look at the boxes, they definitely could hold 4, but looked big enough to hold 8.

What does that mean? AT LEAST 80 iPhones just entered that store, and as many as 160 are there.

IM SO PSYCHED!

I'm in Maui, I haven't even been to bed yet tonight, let alone head over to a line somewhere.. now I can't SLEEP, you've got me too excited!

I'm on the east coast, long island NY to be exact. They were definitely the iPhones because an employee just came out to confirm with us all that we all will be getting our iPhones today!

A top-down picture posted to another thread showed there were 10 iPhones per a brown box, if the brown box is only one layer then your store received 200 iPhones.

I am over at Roosevelt Field. Roughly 100 people here. No sign of any deliveries yet. I got here at 9:30 and secured spot #65.

Good for you, thanks for the box info too folks, they're sloppy here, I'll see the boxes behind them or something and be able to tell if I'm IN or not..

Plus I know WHEN the delivery is coming to the Kiosk as well, so I'll tell my wife to see how many Brown Boxes they deliver.

Well the iPhone boxes are pretty small. So how many do you think it could hold? What size were the boxes they were carying? Like 24x24?

Yeah the individual iPhone boxes are very small. I suspect the original poster is over-estimating how big they are.

Well, I got off work and just got to the Apple store here in reno,nv. I scored spot number 8. So I'm totally going to be ok. Now for the hard part. A 9 hour day of waiting.

I'm at work about 5 minutes from my cingular store, and there is about 3 people in line right now. I am not taking lunch, so I am getting off at 4pm. Man, I hope I can get one. They have 50 in stock. Pray for me guys!
