transferring music problems

I never use to have trouble dragging songs from my iTunes library over to my iPhone but now for some reason, some songs wont go or it will show up as having been transferred to my playlist but when i look for it in the playlist on my iPhone, the songs arent there.The problems with adding songs and syncing seem to have shown up about the same time that i added icloud.Coincidence?
Whenever i use to sync, it would show on my phone screen that sync is in progrss. It doesn't show that anymore.

I am having this exact same problem. I have "Manually manage music and videos" checked, and I never used to have problems dragging individual songs to my phone. Now, out of nowhere, I drag songs onto the phone and nothing happens at all! I haven't noticed any relation to iCloud. Please help us get to the bottom of this.
