Looked for this-couldn't find a similar question.
Went to Apple Store this morning to purchase a new 3G phone although there is nothing wrong with my current edge iPhone. When I asked the clerk if all of my contacts, settings (blue tooth, etc.) would transfer over to my new phone he said that only the contacts, calendar, photos and songs would and that I would have to set up my e-mail and blue tooth again then retype in my hundreds of notes on the new phone. Is this true? What exactly happens when you sync a new phone?
Don't mind setting up my e-mail account but retyping all of those notes is way too much trouble.
Thanks
