Traveling to Cabo San Lucas, need advice please

I am going to Cabo San Lucas next week and would like to know if I can take my iPhone there and use it with a pre-paid sim card. Does anyone know where I can buy that sim card with reasonable price? I am going to use for emergency call only in case my family get lost. Any advise is appreciated. My iPhone is 3gs and unlocked. I heard there is a Wal-Mart in Cabo, can I go there and buy a prepaid sim card?

When we go to Cabo I call AT&T and add the international plan for a month. I don't recall the exact name of the plan but it runs approximately $5 /mo. Call ATT and ask them about their options. You should also be able to go on line and do it. This has always worked for me. Hope this helps.

Thanks glsd, but I am trying to stay away from AT&T. I don't want them to look at my account. They will try to add the data plan on my account if they see my iPhones. I guess I'll use Skypes and walkie talkie if I can't find a sim card to use over there.

Hey I hope it's not too late, I haven't been to Cabo but if you go to wallmart most of the times there are Telcel or Movistar stores (Mexican wireless carries) and you can probably get a sim card there for no more than 15 bucks, if there isn't any try downtown or some mall something like that
