Can someone tell me how to shut the Apple tv off? My little green light stays on, no matter what button or combination of buttons I use.

Sleep mode is what I use. No light on for me when it's asleep.

Same here. Go into setting and select sleep mode. Plus it should just go off by itself unless you have set to never sleep. The fault is one hour I believe I have mine set for 15 min.

No problem. I have found though that even a slight power surge, drop out, etc... Will wake it back up.
