Agreed. The 4S boots very quickly, even when doing a hard reboot.Have you updated to 5.0.1 yet? Also try rebooting before you go to sleep. It will stop any processes that might contribute to battery drain and it's a good idea to reboot once daily anyway. It takes less than a minute so I don't think it's a hassle at all.
I haven't done much to my settings or anything. Even Apple says they are well aware of a battery drain issue for iOS 5.I don't think it's the update it's your phone and settings people. Check it out !
I'm still on iOS 5 no updates on my 4s and I get great battery life !
Same here. I have not done anything different with my settings that would drain the battery the way it's been draining.I haven't done much to my settings or anything. Even Apple says they are well aware of a battery drain issue for iOS 5.
Yeah. I've charged my phone a few times today. All I've really been doing is messing with Cydia and themes and stuff. Nothing serious.Same here. I have not done anything different with my settings that would drain the battery the way it's been draining.

I've just been doing some twitter, web surfing, and words with friends with the wife and I have to make sure I have my cable handy because I'm at 20% in no time. I hardly even talk on the phone.Yeah. I have updated to 5.0.1. Before I go to sleep, I reboot my phone and I only charge my battery when I'm lower than 20%.Have you updated to 5.0.1 yet? Also try rebooting before you go to sleep. Things like Push and Fetch email, Bluetooth, and Location Services are the other culprits, but you should be able to get it down to 3 or 4% drain in 8 hours while you're sleeping by updating the firmware and rebooting each night.
