Unable to exit safe mode after resetting all settings

I was having an issue with iMessage sending messages with my email rather than my phone number and I read somewhere that resetting the settings could fix this, and I was dumb and didn't think it would harm cydia.Yada, yada, yada... I can't get out of safe mode. I hit the button to reset and it just resets back to safe mode. I was thinking about redoing it all anyway because none of my Apple apps have been opening up and I've been having to use 3rd party software for those apps in particular, but has anyone come across this before?

I'm jailbroken on 7.1.1 with Pangu and reset all settings a few days ago. I've done it a million times while jailbroken in the past and never had a problem. But with the Pangu jailbreak, I experienced the same problem you did. I just kept restarting it after the crashes and it finally booted normally on the fourth try. How many times have you tried it?

Like 100 times. I've tried the restart. I tried turning it off and on. I tried hard reboot holding down both buttons. Nothing works.

Bite the bullet...backup iPhone with iTunes and restore....jailbreak again and re-install all your Cydia goodies..
