Unlock iPhone 4.2.10 without PC?

I have some questions. I am a Verizon customer, but looking to come to AT&T. I have the iPhone 4 with iOS 4.2.10.

1.) Would it be possible to unlock my iPhone, so I can use it on AT&T, and could it be done without a PC, and without doing a JB? My iOS is tethered.

2.) AT&T ran a credit check on me, and I have too pay a $150 deposit up front to get service. When doing the unlock, does it mean my credit will be waived, and it will bypass the Credit Department to let me in without paying that deposit?

The Verizon iPhone4 works on a different system than AT&T so you can't use it on AT&T no matter what you do to it. It's like if you want to listen to an FM station on your car radio but you're tuned to AM.

That's about as simple as I can explain that one.

+1. You're not going to be able to use that phone for a GSM carrier as it's a CDMA device. You'll just have to get an AT&T iPhone if you want to switch.
