Unlocking 3G iPhone without WiFi?

My 3g iPhone's wifi connectivity is broken, is there a way to unlock it?

edit; a few days ago my 3g was showing up in iTunes so i could restore, now it's not? how can I get it to show up?

I jailbroke it on 3.1.2 firmware with blacksn0w.

Ah yeah duhh lol! The only thing to do would be to either go to a phone shop where I'm pretty sure they might be able to help, but it would cost a lot of $$$, or contact vodafone and see what they can do

I've read some options on google, im pretty sure it's possible. Just was going to check if any of you guys knew anything about it.
