I actually LOVE the Address book. I do see how they could improve it in a few ways (I would LOVE a field for extensions for certain work numbers). I'm not much of an innovator, however. I'm the one who sits in the back and goes, "Oh WOW! That is so practical, why could I not think of that?"
My favorite feature about the address book is the "links" you can set up to associates or family. I work with SO many people for my job that sometimes I don't know who's doing what, and that's if I'm lucky enough to remember their names. I link them to one of the three bosses I work for and put in a brief description of what they are doing. That way if I have a blonde moment all I need to do is go to that bosses name and I have all of their "associates" and I have all their info. A simple click on their name and I'm make a phone call, sending and email, and getting on with my busy day.
As far as iCal is concerned, I live my entire life off of that thing. I LIVE on my iCal. If I didn't have it (or, God forbid it, crashes on me) I'm going to get fired because I will have lost my brain. The only difference I would like in iCal is 1) I would like to see the "TO DOs" show up in the regular days on the calendar if you insert a "complete by" date. 2) I would LOVE to be able to link an email to an event or "TO DO." I get a LOT of TO DOs through email for work and typically I just copy the entire email, paste it in the "Notes" field of the event or TO DO and write the date and title of the email so I can go back and reference it or reply to it once I have completed the requested task. It would be so fabulous if I could just click on the title or a special link that would take me directly to that email so I didn't have to search through 150 emails before I found and replied to it.
Other than that, I don't have many complaints about iCal.
