last night i was using my head phones on a call for a long time, i think it had been about 45 minutes to an hour into the call when all of a sudden i just heard this loud crackling sound and had to hang up. then i called the person right back and again about the same time it started crakling. this happened once more i think. the total length was like 2 and 1/2 hours ( im only 15 by the way). so i was wondering if there was a limit of how long you could use the headphones on a call, and if theere was a fix. or do you think it will get better with time? that was the longest i had talked to someone since i got this phone and plan to talk to the same person at least this much everyday so i really need a fix other than just putting it on speaker or holding it up to my ear. thanks

Had you tried calling back and talking to this person again on speakerphone or regular phone?

Make sure you diagnose this problem correctly and don't assume it was your headphones.

yah the frist time it happened i called them back and used the headphones still, the second time i called them back i just put it up to my ear and it didn't do that. plus i have had problems with static in the left earbud while listening to music and when i took it to the Apple store he said that i should try taking it out and then putting it back in. while htat worked fine for the music i haven't thought of trying it for on a call.
