Vacationing to Niagra Falls, will my iPhone work?

I know the iPhone does not work in Canada. I'll be in Niagra Falls for 4 days and desperately need to ensure that I will have access to my email for these 4 days.

We are getting into very detailed semantics at this point, but Niagra Falls exists in both Buffalo, NY and Ontario, Canada. I think I will only be about 1 mile or less inside the Canadian border (I'm staying at a Marriott located right along the Falls)

Anyone have any idea if I will A) be able to make calls and take calls and B) be able to access the EDGE internet/Email?

Thanks!

Why wouldn't the iPhone work in Canada? as long as you have a GSM signal (Vodafone or O2 in Canada) than your phone should work fine. You will have to pay international roaming charges.

Niagara Falls is on the border though, so you still might be able to pick up an AT&T signal.

like brianlamar said, your iPhone will work in canada but you could be on another cellular network while you're there. you should call AT&T asap and see what their roaming charges would be and plan what you'll do from there.

Ok guys thanks!

Forgetting the International Charges for calls, do we think that the email/web ability to work?
