Visual Voicemail will use both minutes and data

I don't know if that is actually the case. From the demos it appears as though the messages have been delivered (pushed) to the iPhone's memory as there is no delay involved when you press play. Plus the fact that you can rewind the message as if its located in the iPhone itself.

I don't think it'll be voice. If you watch the demo, it allows the user to slide a "progress bar" back and forth, to rewind and fast-forward....you can't do that with voicemail.

Also, keep in mind you will HAVE TO have a data plan with the iPhone. I bet that V-Voicemail uses data and actually downloads the stuff.

totally agree! why would anyone think it used voice min. its not like you are connecting to a voice mail number (like now when you check voicemail) plus it actually says somewhere unlimited data and visual voicemail. anyone know the reference? att or Apple?

Right now I am a GoPhone customer switching to a regular contract, well basically AT&T thinks I am a deadbeat and in the event if I decided to go south on em they'll have $300 of my money to cover whatever they want to use it for so such is life. That's $300 that they'll return to me after a year with no interest, I lose about $36 that's if I was getting a 12% ROR but I doubt AT&T would pay me that
