Is there a way to have more than 1 audio alert for voice mail or missed calls? I don't always remember to open the screen after being away from the phone. This has already resulted in a few people saying I left a message for you an hour ago.

I looked and didn't see anything. Text tones you can get to repeat but nothin for missed calls or voicemails. I am sure there is a fix for that if you jailbreak. Which will be the answer you receive the most.
Look at the App YouMail. It can be set to send you a txt and or email when you receive a new voice mail.
So if you set it to send you a text message, you can adjust the number of times it plays the alert.
