This is a call for pure speculation...

What will Apple patch/update on the iPhone on release day as a surprise? Surely there's something that Walt et al. did not get to see?!?!

Im sure there are things Walt didn't see but I don't think Apple is going to release any ground breaking software updates on Friday,possibly some minor updates over the week but nothing breakthrough.


If you want to speculate that is another story... Although I doubt it would happen Flash would be nice. My concern with Flash is it uses too much CPU power, a problem Apple is concerned with.


What I think would be a great addition would be an all in one "Google suite" app that provides a Gmail client, google Apps, Reader, etc....

One of the glaring omissions will possibly be fixed.. maybe cut, copy paste.

I expect that over time many omissions will be rectified, it will be like a little present each time. I'm fine with the feature set as it stands at this point, as a start.
