i just spoke to an Apple technichian over the phone and he said that since the last update to iTunes they have been cracking down on what movies you can add to the library because of their agreements with the movie companies so i was wondering if there was a way around putting my mpeg 4 movies files into iTunes to get them on my iPhone. thanks.

I bet you could do it if you knew what directory the videos are put into on your iPhone. Then you would just use Manzana, iBrickr, or WinSCP and transfer it over.

My way around it is that I download movies in AVI format, and then use Videora to convert it to MP4. I heard around this post you can copy DVD using that same program. I’m too lazy to burn DVDs so I just download them. I currently have the Simpsons movie and the Hannibal Lecter movies on my iPhone. Hope it helps

or you can download this program called handbrake @ handbrake.com and convert your dvd's into mp4 in there...then once you convert it, you copy it into iTunes, THEN...lol...you have to select the mp4, go to Advance and click on convert selection for ipod...and the process begins...now the process takes a while...and when i say a while, i meen A WHILE...so i hope you got some patience...and then when you go to sync, just chk the movie...and there it is...
