Web Site Taking Bets on Release date

I read somewhere online that there is a web site called bodog.com that is taking bets on Apple's release date for the iPhone. They are not giving odds just let you place a bet that iPhone will be either launched befor April 30th or after April 30th. There is a higher payout if you select before April 30th.

This proves that people will bet on anything and someone will aways be there to accept the bet!

Thats interesting news...
betting world always keeps on popping surprises and this is just a new addition to the list.
I would certainly opt for before 30th April as the rumor mills are on their high right now about Jan release and also the latest news from Gizmodo about December 18th release

That is great... don't know if I would actually bet on this but if I were a betting man, I would most likely go for the pre April launch bet. From what I hear they have this thing almost in the bag and are aiming to replace the projected decline in iPod sales with iPhone sales to make 2007 a nice year for investors.

Is there no end to what the people in the world will gamble on? A sporting event is one thing but the release of an electronic device is simply ludicrous.
