Weird problem with my 3GS, please read.

I was jailbreaking my iPhone 3gs and everything seemed to go ok but the phone wont get service anymore it just says searching, and my WiFi is grayed out, Bluetooth Grayed out and no IMEI or Firmware. See picture.

I have tried to restore again, and update but the only firmware I can restore to is 4.1, error code with any other firmware.

Will it update to iOS 5.0.1?

No it wont, I've tried to restore to 5.0.1 in DFU, and restore mode.

You'll need to change your hosts file before you can update to 5.0.1.
There are several ways to do this. Choose one:
1. Update iTunes (if it isn't already updated)
2. Install TinyUmbrella and uncheck the box that says 'Set hosts file to Cydia on exit'.
3. Open your hosts file and comment out (add a pound sign) Saurik's server address.

If you continue to get restore errors, please post the error codes.

hi,
i stucked with same problem,
when i do from my pc it is throwing -1 error unknown error,
when i gone through from log files it shows ,bbudapte failed..
what should i do now,
i purchased a jailbroken one i cant get warranty also.
