Yes I'll say it widgets, I'd like more quick look information. On my Android phone it's so nice to be able to look at simple information quickly like a news headline an email right on screen without waiting for load times. Static squares are boring, the screen could be used more effectively. And lastly I want a weather app and widget like the iPhone, I'm too lazy to find a good 3rd party weather app. The last one I downloaded didn't have my city so I paid for a useless app.

I like how the calendar app always shows the current date. More of that like current weather and. Current clock icons would be cool.

-Text wrap (my #1 request)
-Turn-by-turn navigation in the stock maps app or an "open in Navigon or TomTom" link in the stock maps app
-Have the folder automatically close after opening an app that's in a folder
-Option for invisible rotation lock
-Time stamps for all texts. They don't have to waste space. We could press and hold a texts that don't normally have a time stamp when we want to view the time.
-Quick toggles for settings
-Multitaskings gestures for things like the flashlight and phone favorites
-X's on by default on the apps in the task switcher and have fully closed apps appear subdued so we can tell which ones are really frozen/running
-Real-time data usage counter when tethering
-More customization options
-The ability to hide/poof stock apps.

Please allow more room in folders and or folders in folders.

SMS/MMS/iMessage pop up so you can reply with out leaving the app you're currently in. I know it's a jailbreak feature in cydia, but I'd like it to be part of the OS too.

All the assistant extensions in cydia for Siri
Something like Winterboard. People can customize, share, and download themes for their iPhone.

Those would save me the waiting time for jailbreaking

If you have used BiteSMS I love the pop up on that where you can reply from lock screen without opening the phone. I know Apple hates Flash but I still want it. And definitely better customization and notification options. I agree with pretty much all that you all have suggested too!

-In conjunction with the Carriers, a WiFi VoIP app/setting to make and receive calls using the normal iPhone phone number (my mother has this on a T-Mobile Android phone and uses it a lot).
-Date display in status bar, heck I'd like a DOW indicator (I'm retired a loss track of the day of week sometimes).
-A method to get refunds on apps (for me mainly games) when distributors rerelease a game that you've already bought (yeah, Big Fish I'm talking to you) or if you uninstall within 24/48 hours (we should'nt have to pay for crap).

The mail app needs a lot of work. For example, it really needs an easy way to send group emails. I recently switched my 73-yr-old father from an 8-yr-old Windows XP laptop to an iPad. How much did it suck when he called up in a panic, unable to do this simple task for his golf group that comprises approximately 40% of his total computing activities? A lot. Septuagenarians really don't dig "workarounds".
