They said they'd have audio within the week. What the heck is going on with all these crapware? I hope it doesn't turn out to be like all the other video recorders that promise big and don't deliver. It's a shame cause I was willing to pay a premium for this one :(

Same here...I wanted to record a video last night and I thought, "Cycorder should have audio now!" When I went to look at it...still no audio.

Jay (the developer of both Cycoreder and Cydia) has probably been busy with the update of Cydia he released today. I bet audio will show up soon.

Complaining about free software or lack of support for said software is like spitting on free food. It's kinda rude if you think about it.

Be patient people. I'm sure Jay has a life outside of software developement. I'm sure it's not an easy task either. Otherwise, we would have tons of video recording apps out there.

Haha. Liberated, I think it's a fair question. Don't let these guys get to you.

We will all wait patiently, but sometimes curiosity gets the best of us.

I can definitely wait for an application that is free (with paid features im sure) but liberated wasn't in the wrong for making this thread. The dev of cycorder did say audio would be implemented within the week. I think devs could keep a TON of heat off their backs if they didn't give deadlines at all. That way they aren't disappointing anyone :D

I'm sorry, I came off a little strong. I just want people to keep perspective. I get excited about software too...

No worries at all! I understand both sides of the argument. We all want to see cycorder with audio, but lets give the dev some time....he has a life too ;)

Sorry guys, I'm just exited to finally have a decent video recording app and got a little concern partly due to past experiences with video apps.

Considering its been stated the audio portion of Cycorder "may be sold as a premium feature" he's not complaining about free software now is he? It's actually more like questioning the arrival of delayed promised toppings that's priced for your free food.

I know you apologized for coming off strong and try keep a perspective for people, but you have to keep perspective that this is just a message board. People will have questions. Coming off strong and not informal doesn't help and is in fact rude on your part.

No need to be sorry man, you did nothing wrong. I bet a lot of people were wondering the same thing ;)

By the way, here's an icon I made for Cycorder, intended to go along with the Deep theme.
