I am 27. I've had the iPhone (4gb) for about two weeks and I *love* it. I've only seen two other people with it yet -- one guy who I know casually and some other dude I just saw on the street.

O my goodness, lady, you are lecturing. Save it for your own kids. Not somebody's elses. Kids are are all about technology. If THEIR parents let them have one, what's it to you? I'm 39, by the way.

Um, did she not ask for opinions? It would be one thing if I offered an unsolicited opinion, but I didn't. I thought that was the whole point of her asking what people thought. Get off my back.

Oldest So Far

I will be 57 in October.. complete Apple junkie. At the office we use for now the older iMac. As soon as we can will be getting the new ones released last week. At home still use the Mac-Book Pro and also have the 23" display when I feel like having a bigger screen. iPhone is my first smart phone and have absolutely no regret and will never go back. Although I am on my third iPhone (long story) the greatest cell phone out there. Being an imac account member very convenient to sync all my computers and phone with all the necessary information I need away from home or work. Have had cell phones since the early 80's and this iPhone is almost as neat as Superman's watch I used to fantasize about when I was a kid. For you younger folks (child).

I'm 20 and got my iPhone like two weeks after it came out. I saw my other two cousin's who had 8GB's and I told them I'd wait for the second iPhone that has 3G but I ended up buying an 8GB iPhone and ready to buy the other iPhones that come out.

It sucked too because I sold my Nokia 6110 Navigator for $530 online on eBay then paid the difference to get an 8GB iPhone and found out a day later that I got scammed. The person's eBay account got hacked into and the Paypal payment was reversed, I lost my Nokia + had to pay off $530 on Paypal to keep my credit looking good. Security Protection was ineligible (opened a dispute and lost, i had proof and everything but International sales aren't covered), I will no longer trust overseas sales. For those of you who thought I shouldn't have done it in the first place, I sent it because I trusted my International sales as a salesman, I've done many overseas deals and this time I managed to deal with a con.

All in all, it turns out that I spent $1000+ for an iPhone...isn't that something, yes I'm still hurting every time I think about it. Only a student with a part-time job but for the love of Apple, I still had to get an iPhone!
