What is the correct server info for Gmail?

I'm having difficulty setting up Gmail using the Mail app. What is the correct server info for Gmail? Any tips for getting this working properly?

Incoming: pop.gmail.com
Outgoing: smtp.gmail.com:username

It is not allowing me to go to the Forwarding and POP tab on the server to activate!

Any solutions here? I need to activate the POP on the server to get on my iPhone correct? On my iPhone it is telling me "your acount is not enabled for POP access, please visit gail settings and enable POP access!

PLEASE HELP!
