What's the circular arrow next to the battery icon?

Juist noticed a new little icon on my iPhone. Just today. No idea what it is how it got there or how to get rid of it.

It's the little lock with a circular arrow next to the battery percentage.

It just showed up today.

Anybody? I don't want it!

Thats your orientation lock. Double click the home button and swipe left to turn it off.

It's the Lock thing. Double tap the home button. Swipe left and click on the thing to the far left.

you disabled portrait lock? and its still there? because that is definitely the lock thingy for it icon.

Give your iPhone a hard reset should do the trick.
