When will be the next Verizon iOS untethered jailbreak?

Does anyone know when will be the next untethered Verizon iOS jailbreak. I have the iOS 4.2.10, but I did a jailbreak once on this tethered iOS, and won't do it again. JailBreakMe worked fine when I had iOS 4.2.8. Will the next untethered be before the iOS 5? When will be the iOS 5 upgrade launch date?

iOS 5 will probably be out in October. It's very unlikely that there will be an untethered jailbreak for 4.2.10 before 5.0 comes out. It's best to just avoid updating to small updates like that and stay on 4.2.8. You can downgrade to 4.2.8 if you saved your SHSH.

I upgraded a while ago from 4.2.8 to 4.2.10 without saving the SHSH blobs. How can I get back the 4.2.8? I know it was about a month ago, or maybe less.
