There was an over the air update last night. Seems like you can open some file attachments now.

so, where are all those people that claimed to have the secret information about the "update" we were supposed to get yesterday? You guys are liers.
How many times are you going to fall for this? No one on this site or any other discussion forum is going to have accurate information about updates to the software. Only Apple knows when they are going to make updates available, and everyone in the company has signed NDA's so they can't talk about it publicly. In other words, you'll know when your iTunes says "A new version of iTunes is available" and not a moment before... unless Jobs goes in front of the camera's and announces it before hand.

Ummmmm new version of iTunes is available ....as of early this morning.... and ....... it does nothing as far as I can see V 7.4 is nothing special. ....... and yes Im still pissed about the price drop :(

You are correct, good sir! I just end up believing what these guys say. I'm just hungry for a "real" update. Don't get me wrong- I love my iPhone!

uuum, I think you guys missed it, but there was a small over the air iPhone update last night. My buddy at work is opening office attachments via iPhone email. Not a very cool feature, just making sure you zea lots knew about it.

Ummmmm new version of iTunes is available ....as of early this morning.... and ....... it does nothing as far as I can see V 7.4 is nothing special. ....... and yes Im still pissed about the price drop :(
I haven't checked yet, I'll go download my new version. Wee. ;)

Over the air = update via the Edge Network as opposed to iTunes.

Opening office attachments means if someone emails you an excel or word document, you can open it on your iPhone.

Actually, Jobs said in his speech that the new software would be available "tonight" - which would have been last night. I checked last at about 11:30 est, and no update, but since they are in CA I guess they had a little buffer! I'm downloading it now...
