You guys make me feel like I live under a rock. I live in NY. I've been to Canada, Italy, and spent a day in Switzerland. I gotta get on my world traveling. Of course, I don't have the money to do that so I just go to Epcot and pretend. ;)
A lot of mine 'exotic' travel was for my job. Hotels and offices aren't usually much different, so it's not always much better than Epcot.

Although it is fun eating all that different food.

Sorry, channeling a little Boss.
I've only been to Costa Rica and Equador. I want to visit my ancestral lands of Scottland, Ireland, Wales, England, and Germany.

I put Costa Rica first because it was my favorite place. We were climbing Arenal while it was wicked active. Fist-sized blocks falling within clear sight. We had hard hats on but as if.

Also a thunder storm blew in, in the evening, the clouds were lit bright red, sheet lightning in the clouds, reminds me of Moses on the mountain.

We also accidentally went up the closed side to Monte Verde after almost entering Nicaragua because we'd misread Campo Verde. It was raining going up and there was neither room to turn around nor was it possible. I was driving and noted that on that up and down laneway, the ups were graveled but the downs, mud-slick. When we finally got into town the locals gave us crazy looks and later told us that road is closed and to take the other way down.

We also did some caving and a small Jaguar crossed our path in the rain forest.
