Ballistic case arrived today from Amazon with the holster for $26.99, but it's damaged. Darn it. Sending it back and ordering another one.

I like the looks of the SwitchEasy white one. Do you know if the rubber on it and the Speck Candy Shell are the same? I'm worried the SwitchEasy one is softer!

Sorry, Don't know about the Speck case. I just know you have to put the SE case on a certain way and the plastic part is tough. Chris reviewed this case here.

So I have had my Spigen neo hybrid ex slim vivid case for a couple of weeks now. Time to give some opinions. So I chose those case because I wanted a bumper style case that kept my phone simple but offered some protection. I also wanted something that popped against the white color.
I have nerve dropped any of my iPhones ever except on carpet.
After two weeks of use I had my first major drop. Slid out of pocket bounces off a padded bench seat. Hit under side of table. Side of bench. Floor. A table leg twice and then slid.
Not a mark scratch ding anything.
Case itself doesn't add much to overall size of the phone. I didn't think I would like it at first for a couple of reasons. One the neoprene that goes under the bumper is black and sits odd like. After use I love it. Black blends in. Nice to have a soft edge against the firm bumper. Looks sexy. Is durable. Comes with front and back protectors. Back is three piece protector. Here is a link for it.

I like this bumper. I have Ghost Armor and am looking for a good bumper. I'll think long and hard with this one.

I've recently got a Power Support Air Jacket in Black. I liked it that much I got a Clear Smoke one too.

Can't fault these cases as they protect all sides. I did get a PS flat bumper as well but it felt uncomfortable in the hand, a lot like the Spigen Neo Hybrid Ex.

Yeah, that's the one I have, Impact Snap with cover, really like it, nice tight fit and feels strong. Just got to test out the impact resistance! Lol

The Speck CandyShell scratches after use and shows wear. The SwitchEasy Tones is a nice hard plastic and shows no wear. Both do a good job of protection, but my favorite at this moment is the definitely the SwitchEasy.

Thanks Chris, I'll check it out! Is it a one piece case like the Speck?

I have the tones case. It's okay, but I noticed a few times one of the corners kept popping out. I now have a SGP bumper with front and back Ghost Armor films.

I just got the iPhone 5, two weeks ago. While in the AT&T store I picked up a otterbox defender, returned after a day. Thought it was to bulky.
Bought the lifeproof case. It hated it. It had the worst protector screen, it was warped. and when I would slide my finger over the screen it would go over the warped screen and not register. Also the shell was too slick, felt like it was going to slip out of my hand.
Got a zagg on both sides and put a bumper on it. That was ok.

The funny thing is that I was looking on eBay and bid on an otterbox defender and won it for $20 bucks. Even though I wasn't happy with it the first time, I figured for 20 dollars it wouldn't matter if I left it in the cabinet and didn't use it. When it came, I put it on the phone and for some reason I love it now. Did the baby powder trick to avoid the water mark. It really feels good in my hand, doesn't feel like its ever gonna slip. Feels very tough, I'm very pleased with the case. Very happy I gave it a second chance.
