None. I haven’t been since 2016. I’m planning on going up for the summer solstice next year, though. I’m pretty excited to go salmon fishing and it will be nice to get away from the southern Utah heat for a little while.

Played around with the Max all day. Not that impressed. I don’t think the screen is way better than the 8 Plus. I definitely expected more for this price.

The Face ID unlock is a lot faster than it is on the X and I noticed that the XS is dual radio (just like the 6 and 6s were). I have an AT&T XS and I tested it with a Verizon SIM card and it worked.

Went to Best Buy down the road from today. I ended up getting a Max 256gb Space Gray with an Insignia glass screen protector and clear case. Since I traded in my iPhone 7 Plus, I got a $290 gift card. It covered the taxes and took off $200 for the phone. Everything cost me $0 out of pocket and I still have a little bit left on the gift card(around $1.56), which I plan on using to pick up a wireless charger, just don’t know which one yet.

The set up was a breeze for my Xs Max. I just had an issue with Apple not transferring my new iPhone over to my cellular AT&T service. But a quick phone call fixed that. I love how sleek it feels and the beautiful edge to edge OLED screen. Coming from a 7 Plus this is an impressive upgrade. I did buy a wireless charger for it.

Of course it could never go without hick ups. I will reload iOS12 from my MacBook later. I have issues not getting text sound. Sometimes it kicks in after I switched airplane mode and sometimes after I restart . But it won’t stick. I have been missing my kids , husbands messages ...

I think I might be tempted to get an XR. I have an iPhone 8 but I didn't see the justification to upgrade to the XS or the XS Max until I see the XR. I really have never been this torn between iPhones.

I took my old 6s Plus to the Apple Store in Germantown, Tennessee to get a new battery. They broke the camera and LED torch, so they gave me a brand new 6s Plus (not a refurb). I had hoped to stay on iOS 10.1.1 with the 6s Plus. But not possible now. But all is good. I still may get the Max in March. But since I'm now on iOS 12.1, I may just wait until September and get the latest greatest then.
