Who has interest in the Nook Tablet?

Apologies if this can't be posted here, but I haven't seen it mentioned and there are Kindle Fire threads.

The new Nook tablet that was introduced today looks really good. Anyone going to get it? I know there was plenty interest in the Fire on here.

I've been using Amazon VOD for a few years and always wanted a proper portable device that could play it, but the Nook looks like the better option.

The Nook Tablet is the better unit between the two. I've had the Nook Color for a while now.

I see both the Fire and Kindle as great media devices, but no where close to the functionality that the iPad provides, IMHO of course.

camera: none vs 0.7mb/0.3mb​

bluetooth: none vs yes​

ram: 1gb vs 512 mb​

storage: 16gb + uSD vs 16gb/32gb​

OS: Android 2.3.x(B&N modified) vs iOS 5.0.x​

price: $249 vs $499​

The Nook Color runs full Android once rooted and I expect root will be had on the Nook Tablet soon.

Just out of curiosity how big of a difference is the ram speed on these two tablets? 1gb vs 512mb
