I have a feeling the ones that haven't received it today we will be the next ones up.

Yeah.. I got my tracking number and email from AT&T already.. But it is not a working number yet. I click to track and it says no info.. It is MOCKING me! hehe

You should update to iOS5 when you get home, that will keep you occupied for a while, that's what I'm doing.

to those who received a tracking number already, do you think they will ship it next day air?

last year for the iPhone 4 i remember getting a tracking number 2 days before and got it the day before release.

Like many of you I received tracking numbers from AT&T for UPS this morning. However it does not show up on UPS web site. This is typical of past orders. By the time the site showa the item, it has already been delivered! I did notice that UPS has a service where you can allow for delivery if you are not home (we will be out for an hour or so) however it does not appear that you can use that feature until the items actually tracks:(.

I ordered just after 1am Friday, but BOA decided using my credit card at that time was a possible fraud and I had to call ATT around 10am to sort the payment out. Had the pending shipment email but not the has shipped email. I suspect despite what ATT says about my order being active, the payment problem may well cause the order to cancel on the 14th. If that happens I shall be placing a new order with Sprint, I very nearly ordered with them at the outset.

I had the same problem. I didn't fix it till about noon Friday, so you should be fine. ^_^

Same story here, cc called Friday a.m. to verify the charge. I noticed a note below my order status Saturday that said my payment had not been verified. I called AT&T and they processed it again. I have my original order #, but the order date shows Saturday.
Have to wait and see how it goes I guess.
Not anybody's fault, next time I know not to use a card that has been idle for a long time.
