Will I be able to use my 3G SIM card in my new iPhone 4?

Long time lurker here, need a lil help as the title states, im trying to be a nice hubby and got my wife the iPhone 4 and I will be taking over her 3g Since I broke my 3gs a few months back and been forced into using a crappy Samsung flip.

Anyways I would like to know if I will be able to get her 3g sim card to fitinside the iPhone 4 relativly easily, any links or how tos would be great thanks, oh and I ordered her iPhone 4 yesterday and I am hoping this press conference thing proves to be a good thing for the iPhone 4's issues haha keeping fingers crossed. thanks again for anybody that may be able to offer any help.

unfortunately not, the iPhone 4 uses a micro-sim and it's not compatible with the sim in the 3G or 3GS as far as I know.

Not compatible at all.

Maybe I am imagining this, and I certainly not suggesting it, but I have heard it is possible to cut the SIM down to size and it will work in iPhone 4. Then you can use an adapter to place back in 3GS, if needed.
