Word Attachments...

I know there are threads on this but I am confused. From what I have read people can view word attachments in email. When I get an email with an attachment I see an icon in the body but can not click on it. This is with my Google and .mac account. Are you able to open word doc attachments? If so am I missing something?

I just sent myself a .doc (word) attachment and it worked just fine.

Is the attachment being sent to you a .doc or a .docx attachment? .docx is used with vista - Does anyone know if the iPhone supports .docx?

It was a doc file, what email are you using and what do you do to open it?

.docx is not vista as much as it is Word 2007.

Docs should open up just fine as attachments. You just can write docs.
