MacBook Pro Word Processors

Alright I got my new macbook pro running 10.7.1 and i need a word processor

I have microsoft word on my old macbook and don't feel like having to buy a new one just for this mac.

anyone know of any good free word processors?

I don't know if open office has one for Mac but its free and from what I hear it sounds pretty good.

yup. Go to openoffice.org. It is pretty decent. I have it on my Macboook Air. And you can save documents in word format.
