Would like to jailbreak, should I update iPad to 5.0.1?

I'm on 4.3.5 with iPad 1 and wanting to jailbreak it. Would it be better for me to upgrade to 5.0.1 or stay on 4.3.5?

You can go ahead and updated to iOS 5.0.1 since there is an untethered jailbreak for the A4 chip (iPad 1 and iPhone 4) since last month. And you will get the beauty of ios5 plus the mind blowing and "unlimited" tweaks, themes, apps etc etc from a jailbreak.

I agree. My 3GS was always jailbroken. I upgraded to the 4s and have been waiting ever since.

It's coming next week since they already exploited the A5 chip and demonstrated (pod2g) on YouTube working untethered!
