Would you pay $1000 for an iWatch?

This isn't a poll in the true sense of a poll, but rather meant to stir up conversation on the topic. With news that the iWatch could be available at a price that could swell into the thousands, I'm curious as to what you would pay for an iWatch? Personally, I think they are referring to options like expensive watch bands. If I had to put a price on the iWatch, I'd say it will retail for $449 and will come with a black, rubber band. They cannot just sell an iWatch with a black band. Watches are fashion accessories. This will create a big aftermarket, but I suspect Apple will want a piece of it by offering options in store. Makes sense, people don't want to buy a watch that requires they immediately purchase a new watch band.

So what do you think will be the price of the iWatch? How much would you pay for an iWatch? Discuss.

No way I would pay that much. I don't pay high $ for fashion accessories. In fact, I don't buy fashion accessories. I'd buy a Galaxy Gear before paying that.

It would have to cost less than the device it connects to.

How many of you own iPads? Were you of the thinking, I have an iPhone, so don't need or want an iPad?

What if the iWatch is under $500, like the original iPad. Would that interest you?

That's a negative ghost rider! Never thought since I had an iPhone I didn't want an iPad, but that was due to screen sizes.
Now stepping down too a micro sized screen on a watch? Yeah, I already have an iPhone.

$120 is about the maximum price I would consider. As stated by others, I already have an iDevice that I have on me 24/7. I'm picturing an iPod Nano with a wrist strap, how on Earth could it (rhetorically) cost more than an iPhone or iPad?

I really like the idea of an iWatch. I have a friend really Into Android he has a note 3 and galaxy gear. He has it hacked and it does way more then stock. They really work well together and the idea of an iWatch with Apple quality and sleekness I'm pretty excited by it. But I don't think I would be paying more then a $249 range for it. Don't get me wrong I have a decent size watch collection and some of which are double or triple in price but for some reason I can't justify spending more for it.

I'm not interested in owning an iWatch. My one luxury indulgence for myself is my current watch. I paid way more than the elusive future price of the almost invented iWatch.
