I am not trying to be condescending when saying this, but some of us have our hearts set on the larger iPhone. For those of us looking at the 8 gig model, what if on launch day you got there, and they only had 4 gig models left.

Would you "settle" for one of those, or wait to get the 8 gig model?

No way I'll get the 4 even 8 is on the small side. I was really hoping for something like 32gb then it becomes a replacement for my iPod, Phone and PDA.

4 gigs is as big as the nano I currently use so, big deal. I'd rather have the 8 gig but it's certainly not a deal killer for me.

I agree 4 gigs is enough for music for me but Im not sure it would fit my movies and shows.

I'm still torn. I want one bad enough for me to consider settling for a 4G.

8 Gigger. I would like a larger size memory option, but I have 10 movies and about 200 songs already set up in my iTunes to sync right to the iPhone when I get it. 7.4 Gigs.

Keep in mind all the other stuff on the phone will probably use some of that space. OS, graphics, sounds, etc.
