My guess is that Jobs will talk about the iPhone at WWDC. I think it would be bad press not to. I'm guessing Jobs will roll out a 3rd part app certification process for the iPhone, which will tie into WWDC. Jobs will also demo "X 10.5," along with all the secret sauce stuff, as promissed, and maybe 10.5 and iPhone integration features.

Also, I hope one of the new features of 10.5 is some easy, automatic kind of wireless, RAID, network, daisy-chain (USB/FireWire), hot-swapable, Hard Drive storage thing. Because, my goodness, my 80 GB drive in my PowerBook is choking on all the iTunes video and music I have stored on it, and I don't think 160 or 200 GB will hold me for long at my current rate. And I have plenty of smaller old drives laying around that would be great to turn into one big drive.

Right, I mean, everyone will be waiting to hear about the iPhone, so if he doesn't get that out of the way first, no one will hear anything else he says, I would think?

I really hope you are right. I will be satisfied if the release date is the only thing we learn about the iPhone at WWDC. Of course, I wouldn't mind if Steve spent the entire keynote talking about the iPhone though:cool:.

I hope we'll hear a release date. I'm sure all the developers will be asking "Can we develop for this thing?" and "When does it come out?" I think that would be a major blow to Apple if they don't open this up, at least on a limited scale. Everyone and their brother is going to be hacking it anyway...

To watch it live, I don't believe so. However, I assume it will be posted on Apple's site right after the Keynote ends. If not, I bet it will be all over YouTube.

will there be any way to actually watch the keynote live on june 11th?
Most likely not. There were times in the past it was streamed live or available on TechTV, but I think those days are over. But you can usually watch it shortly afterwards or that night on Apple's web site.

Yep, they usually have it uploaded almost immediately after the event. For the MacWorld keynote, they had it up within hours.

The next closest thing is MacRumors has their own live site where they take photos and do a synapsis during the event which is usually pretty good.

I just keep checking the Apple store as well...
