Yahoo! Push Sucks

If I'm on WiFi then mine works good too, but when I'm using EDGE, which is most of the time, then it seldom pushes the e-mail to my phone. When I manually force the phone to check for an e-mail then it appears although it was sent a couple of hours earlier, this is unacceptable.
Do the software restore and it should work fine for you. It'll take about 15-20 minutes to do the full restore and sync your stuff again, but mine started to work just fine after that.
I've done that twice, still having problems, thanks though.
I think I'm gonna call Apple to see if they will replace my phone.
Does anyone know the number for Apple customer service?
I don't think its a problem with your phone. Everyone else is pretty much having the same problems as you are. I think its yahoo's servers. I actually have an appointment with the genius bar to figure out this problem or to get any insight so I will report it. I noticed as well that it works about 25% of the time. Hopefully it will start working flawlessly. I'm not quite sure what's taking so long.
I did have two that came almost twelve hours later than they should have using yahoo. I don't think it's the best option. People seem to be having much better success with gmail, but the push feature is nice when it works.
I agree, the gmail server seems more reliable but pulling emails definitely is a drain on the battery. I'd rather use yahoo and utilize push. Saves battery and you get emails in real time. (When its working correctly)

This is weird. My yahoo push works perfectly everytime. I get my messages as soo as they are sent to me. I aslo forwarded my gmail to my yahoo so that way my gmail is pushed right to my phone in real time! Why is it that some of you are having such problems with your phones? I suggest taking your phones back and having Apple replace them for a new unit. Trust the yahoo push is a great service to have on this phone! And its free!

Hmmmm, that's interesting.
I purchased the phone on tuesday. Its been four days and there is very little progress regarding this subject. I'm starting to think Yahoo won't get their sh!+ straight regarding push email.
My Yahoo push email just stopped working sometime last Friday. Can't get it to push any of the emails I've gotten all weekend.
