YouTube - Limited videos?

I've started playing with the YouTube feature on my iPhone and found that many of the videos that are online don't show up in a search.

Did they limit what videos are returned?

For example, if use a normal browser and search for "pump it up exceed", which is a video game, I get 7+ pages of results.

But if I enter the same term in iPhone YouTube, I get no results.

I've noticed that as well. My youtube videos weren't found when I search for them in the youtube thing on my iPhone. I hope they hurry up and convert the videos because I want to share my video with friends while I'm on the go.

Ive noticed the same thing but day after day they are addding more.. I searched some video on saturday but then just out of curiosity it showed up now.. maybe they do it by rating the best rated will go first or by how many hits?

One point worth noting is that nearly all Google Video's will work on the iPhone. See this

word on the street is youtube has converted 10,000 for viewing on iPhone, they are currently working on converting the rest of them to mp4 h264 codec also

I remember hearing that the back catalog of You-Tube videos should be available to the iPhone by Fall

ive noticed this before also. i hope they allow you to type in the username and come up with all the movies that user posted..
