YouTube links no longer work?

Ok, I downloaded ios6 on my 4s and like it for the most part. One of the biggest issues I have with it though is that when I click on some YouTube links in another forum I'm on, it won't play. Yes I've downloaded the new YouTube app and the videos did work before I upgraded to ios6. Here are a couple screenshots of what it does...

Any ideas on why it does this and what can be done to fix it? I am going nuts not being able to watch vids from that forum! Thanks!

Delete and redownload the app and play a video in the app then try that link again.

Just tried what you suggested, and still doesn't work. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Hard reset the phone? Are you sure they are links to YouTube? I didn't think that YouTube required flash to watch videos on any platform.

yes I've tried a hard reset to no avail and I'm positive they are YouTube links cause I I "quote" the post with the video it says YouTube in the text of the link. Here's a thread from that forum with a video in it:

I get the same error message as you when I click on the video. All other YouTube links work for me elsewhere on the phone. I'm thinking this may be a problem with the forum itself. Are there settings for this forum you can mess around with?

It doesn't play because the forum has the video explicitly set to use flash.

Not very wise encoding choice for any site with videos.
